1. Who we are
DOTS is a trading name of DOTS Engineering, a company incorporated in Zambia. Registered number and registered office: [TO BE COMPLETED].
2. What these terms cover
Using the DOTS website, the rider app, the driver app, or any DOTS service — car hire, taxi, DOTS Express or DOTS Eats.
3. Your account
You give accurate details, you keep your sign-in to yourself, and you tell us if somebody else has used it. You must be old enough to hold the account, and for hire, old enough and licensed to drive.
4. Car hire
Booking and confirmation
A car owned by DOTS is confirmed the moment you book it, if it is free for your dates. A car listed by a private owner is a request until the owner confirms it by phone or WhatsApp; your dates are held once they do. The price shown for your dates is the price, unless the hire changes.
Returning late and extending
There is a 2-hour grace period after your return time. To keep the car longer, extend from the DOTS app or by WhatsApp before the grace period ends. After it ends, a car fitted with a tracker is switched off until the extension is paid.
Tracking
Hired vehicles carry tracking devices. Where that is so, we say so at the point of hire and in the privacy policy.
Licence and identity
A valid driving licence and identity document are required before keys are handed over. [Minimum licence age and years held: TO BE COMPLETED]
Deposit, fuel, mileage, cancellation

5. Taxi, Express and Eats

6. Payment

7. Owner partnerships
Where an owner places a vehicle on the DOTS fleet, a separate written agreement governs that arrangement and takes precedence over these terms for it. A partnership is a commercial contract over that vehicle; it is not a shareholding in DOTS.
8. What we are not responsible for
